A real estate agent approached me to do up some pictures of Fajar Road HDB estate for his new brochures and flyers as he was specializing in that particular Singapore area. I happened to be there in the evening time to take some snaps and was lucky enough to catch the setting sun in the background but the block I was at was the best bet to catch the sunset angle and at the same time showing how the traffic is within the blocks. Here are some of the exterior residential views of the place but I didn’t include the interiors due to privacy reasons from the HDB owners who hasn’t sold off their apartments.

Most of my realty clients thought I would charge a bomb for their publication images but they are wrong! Frankly, it’s pretty much transparent because it is a straight forward image and HDB apartments point of sales are fast moving so the possibility of returning clients for a new set of photographs are very much higher. These are not specifically the architecture shots that are to die for but for the price, it is pretty decent  if one decides to engage me for the images. Property agents will usually give me a list and I would just be there without his/her supervision and take the shots to my own discretion. This of course saves time as their sales time will not be interrupted with photography if they decided to take the pictures on their own, hence my services come into the picture.

Rates are normally flat which includes the exterior surroundings, main view, carpark, adjacent buildings and of course the various angles in the apartment for sale which I didn’t show due to privacy reasons.

I do not have a rate card as most commercial projects for architecture are quoted exclusively depending on volume and exclusivity. Here are the basic rates I would offer to the realty/ property agents within Singapore:

• 1 x property HDB goes between (SGD) $70 – $100 for all necessary shots within and inside the property.
• 1 x property Condo / Landed between (SGD) $120 – $150 for all necessary shots within and inside the property.
• Images are given optimised for printing and web sizes as per request
• If the list are more than 10 properties within the area, additional package discount will be given.
• If the list are more than 20 properties within the area, further discounts will be given.
• Different locations although more than 10 properties will not enjoy discounts, sorry because of travelling time. Understandable by clients usually.

These images come without strobing and are not for magazine advertisements or other promotions except for end user flyer and brochure distributions. Other architecture works for promotional publication purposes will have to email us to request for quote as the level of quality and work would be very much of a different finish than the images above.
