The Fitman Jason Tan

Filed under: Corporate — Tags: , — Azlie Ari Allias @ 7:34 am

Jason Tan is one hell of a fitman! He is afterall a triathlete and he will be featured in magazine editorial as he posed with new sponsor! If you look closely into his shades, you can see my big, fat, burly arms!

Definitely Jason is not the bottom one…. he is the cool guy with shades ON!! And I just realised Kara (I hope I got her name right), the intern who helped me a lot during the shoot, was photographed by me not long ago in the Pink Ribbon Walk at East Coast… See anyone familiar below and top pic? Could that be her?

And this (left) was Ashley during the same Pink Ribbon Walk event!

Thanks to the gigantic school of ants that bit the most portion of my right arm during a stunt, it still does itch!

Awesome Questions for Hari Raya 2010 Package

Since our small 3-liner advertisement on the malay papers, Berita Harian & Berita Minggu to be exact, online awareness with friends on social networking sites and spreading the love via word of mouth, we have been receiving quite a huge amount of inquiries in regards to our Hari Raya Promotion for 2010!

Maybe you’ve missed out the whole thing… well to summarise it, here it is:-

First of all, both Lis & I would like to shout out “A BIG THANK YOU!! :))” to those who called us showing interest in getting on with a booking date and choice of $250 or $300 package. You guys know that this is pretty much a $500 to $700 value but since everyone loves Hari Raya, we are practically giving away the canvases for almost FREE!!

Amongst all of our calls that we have received, we received a phone call last night from a friend, Yes! a friend! and friends are Awesome!!, who asked if he could have his family of 30 (THIRTY!!!) people to be photographed for the occasion! Well we all know 30 is quite a number and we are not talking about a class or a platoon group picture to be taken in the outdoor with benches or indoor in front of a stage or in the foyer of a school. We are talking about perhaps a few respected older generation couples with sub sets of families with young kids to be photographed in a very comfortable situation, if you know what I mean.

Hence, we understand your families need:-

  • a studio large enough to house the families comfortably (keyword: comfort & huge not forgetting cosy)
  • privacy… to change into their outfit, to makeup, mingle and so on
  • a bigger than life canvas print and not the sizes we offer in the package
  • a lot of shots for all families and many more prints

Friends and relatives and prospective clients who are going to be our friends, do not be dismal if you do have a BIG, multi-generation family because we will get down to the very bottom of the solution for you until you find the perfect package that will suit you undoubtedly, even if you want 5 copies of 40″ x 80″ canvas prints. And as I have mentioned in the promo page about a mix of indoors and outdoors and how some of the family members who are less comfortable being photographed outdoors, we can always sit in for a discussion that suits you best.

Just give us a call at 9 0022 5 44 or email us at engage@shotsense.sg and we will get to the bottom of your intentions! :)

Added: And for those who had complained about the raised leg photograph as depicted in our posters, we didn’t have any intention of offending anyone and our sincere apologies we seek from you. We are just a fresh, daring, willing to experiment anything new or creative kind of photographers and at the same time, we respect others’ opinions and cater to what our clients usually want. Peace and may you have a brilliant & wonderful day ahead!!

I feel like splashing water on everyone’s faces

I really do feel like doing this in public. Go up to someone… any stranger… and ask them if they would like to has water splashez on faces!!! and see what you get just before the water reaches their face. Dilla’s makeover was ruined that night thanks Lis who gladly splash em water from her palm. The initial intention was to use the whole pail but I don’t want to clean the mess so we did a decent, small scale one. Imagine……. if it was a bucket of paint! Onto strangers…. ahah!

Badd… from coolness to… this… :P Lis, your hand is in the frame!!!

Somehow I tried so many times but couldn’t get the natural expression out of Dilla who already shut her eyes before the water splashes on her…

Lis, your hand is in the frame!!!

If you don’t know her mum, She looks like this!… and Lis! Your hand!

This is the result after like 10 takes… and Lis still has her hand in the frame!

Then we tried to do the popular shake your face and stop the time to see what happens….

Dilla… you FAILed!!

She only likes the Timotei kind. if you guys remember that old school ad showing some blonde brushing and tossing her hair in the cottage kind of setting…

You know I’m Badd… I’m Badd… you know it! Heee heeeeee!!

Badd came over amidst Dilla’s makeover sessions and I decided to have a go at some shots with Badd. This was really an impromptu thing and it was way coming to midnight so all of us were like hmmmm… For the info, Badd never posed for any shoot in front of a camera other than the say cheeeeeze kinds and he was really, really nervous. Well, wrong answer, dude! The more nervous you are, the more I like it and the nocturnal side of me wants him to look none like himself. We wanted to make him strip to his boxers but he only agreed to take off his tee and just leave his singlet on… with jeans at the bottom.

After the session and a McDelivery midnight snack for all, we trashed Dilla’s Makeup and Badd’s Coolness with something really simple…. WATER!!!

Dilla Makeover Hijab Portrait Session

I think I am going to repeat in my previous post here… It was a portfolio for a makeup artist who only wants to be published as Mimi (hmmm… definitely not me… me) As we don’t do TFCD unless its a sponsorship by us or for a good cause, we gave Mimi very very special rates of only $200 for the 1.5hr session with a model we provided… introducing Dilla, who is available at a very short notice. If you like Dilla, and the makeup done by the make-up artist, give them a Hell Yeah! Well, by the way this is the Hijab or more accurately scarfed version which is not so appropriate to mix the pictures with the other ones.

Black & Whites

How eyes could give a totally different mood to a photograph

Colour mode ON!

Trying to achieve the Siti Nurhaliza LOOK! Hahah

Don’t miss the non-hijab version of Dilla messing around with her hair…
