We received a few emails, facebook messages and friends calling us up if we were able to do baby portraits. We never had a paid assignment for any baby photography (so far as of now) and hence I do not have any examples to show and of course, other than a a few studio sessions. So our 22-month old son became our guinea pig… just a test we did at our home studio with dark background. We targeted the shots to have eye contact, the subject looking at his most fun, cute, adorable self without much posing as kids will be kids and with Armand just understanding quite a bit of instructions, we achieved to have the shots we wanted.

A half body portrait of him smiling at the camera… check!

A sequence of him playing with a propstanding and sitting down… Check!

Another prop just to add interestingness… check!

A relaxed pose!… check!

Personally, there will be much more things we’d want to explore with babies and kids in regards to our family portrait photography category and if you think you have anything to comment on our work with this one, please go ahead and feedback. We found the above poses to be non-offensive (did a bit of search for baby and kids photography in their natural self and found similar or even more exposed shots but we didn’t dare so we butterflied the exposed areas.. hehe) but if you think they are, please do let us know.
